Every caregiver who reaches a family has cleared a background check, verified references, holds current CPR and First Aid certification, completed professional training in child development, and sat down for a personal interview with our founder, Kaitlyn Pena. Nobody skips a step, and nobody is placed because we were short that week.

Once you send a request we look at who is available, who lives closest to you, and who fits the ages and needs of your children. Distance matters. A caregiver who lives nearby arrives on time in bad traffic and can usually help when your plans shift. We reply within twenty four hours with a match and the details, and you can speak with your caregiver before the first visit.

Before care begins we confirm allergies, medication, routines, house rules, and emergency contacts in writing. During longer bookings your caregiver checks in, and at the end of every booking you get a clear handoff covering what your children ate, how they slept, and anything worth knowing. If you want the same person next time, ask. We protect continuity wherever the calendar allows, because children settle faster with a face they recognise.

Caregivers are trained in Conscious Discipline, which in practice means helping a child name what they are feeling and return to calm rather than simply correcting behaviour. It works at bedtime, in the car, and on the difficult afternoons that every family has.
